Gordon Guillaumier

Gordon Guillaumier was born in Malta in 1966. In 1989, he moved to Milan to study industrial design at the European Design Institute and Industrial Design Management at the Domus Academy. After apprenticing with Baleri Italia, he collaborated with Architect Rodolfo Dordoni in product design and development. At the same time, in 1994, he designed his first signed products for the Foscarini and Mito firms.

For three years starting in 1995, he worked for the Driade firm, in charge of strategy and product development for the Atlantide and Dhouse collections, assisting in the artistic direction of these new lines. Since 1998, he has been active in the field of design management and artistic consulting: bathroom furniture complements for Dornbracht Interiors, kitchen sets for Rational and Elt, silver gifts and fancy goods for 2link', handles for furniture pieces for the Pamar firm, outdoor furniture for Roda.

In addition to his consulting, Gordon works as designer in the fields of furniture, lighting and gift articles for companies in this sector: Bosa, CasaMilano, Desalto, Matteo Grassi, DeVecchi, FontanaArte, Montina, Nobili Rubinetti, Elica, Minotti, and Varaschin. His creations have been featured in publications like Domus, Abitare, Interni, AD, Modo and Wallpaper.
